Nigel tried very hard not to laugh when Lafay cast an aguamenti spell straight in a Slytherin's face. But he felt bad for the Hufflepuff Prefect because it looked like he did nothing wrong other than freezing for a couple seconds. Hmm... weird. This is why Nigel stayed quiet and waiting for the instructions. He did not want to get in Lafay angry and make trouble especially in her class

Well it looks like class has resumed, so Nigel kept his gloves on and listened to the instructions on what Lafay wanted the class to do. He took his scalpel, cleaned it, and cut an incision under the scales by the fins. Alright so far so good, Nigel thought. He then removed all the fins from the body, and placed them in his tray. It was pretty awesome when the scales disappeared. Next Nigel rotated the legs one at a time, just like Lafay did, until he heard them pop out of the sockets, then he made a cut along the lose skin, pulled the legs off and put them in his tray.

Nigel then waited for more instruction.
