She eyed them for a moment, before choosing one of the smaller chocolates. Delilah smiled, "Thanks, Joao..." SEE. She'd been practising! It didn't sound so strange to say, now.

omnomnom. Delilah bit into the chocolate, saving half of it. It would be easier to be dignified if she didn't like the taste of the fruits, that way. However, the smaller Slytherin needn't have worried about that. Looking back to Joao, Delilah grinned. "These are amazing!"

"Oh!" Delilah set the second half of her chocolate on her knee, and gestured towards the box. "That's for you!" She picked it up and handed it to him, beaming. Hopefully he'd like them...

Delilah decided to wait until he'd opened the box, to see if he understood that the 12 cupcakes each represented one of the 12 days of Christmas...
