João was so intent on the box that he nearly missed the wave, and when he reacted to it, it was too late. He caught the hair of a girl getting inside the dorms, and didn't really pay attention really. He was just considering how to open the box... or whether he should open it in the first place. "I meant to give it to someone, actually," he said, trying to keep the hurt tone out of his voice, but he failed a little. It still stung to think about that day, although it was a month ago. "But, ah... she refused." He opened the lid at last and showed her the contents. There were shapes of finest chocolate from finest Brazilian cacao. "Would you like some?"
