Didn't they say that they were bestfriends even before Erin left Hogwarts last year halfway of the term? Did they? Now, she couldn't even remember it. Was that too long to forget such a beautiful friendship or she's the only one who thought it was beautiful? Erin admits that she was not so much of a good friend to Beezus before she left but Erin was there for her... all the time. They even write letters to each other and she hadn't mentioned about this someone, a new bestfriend.

Erin's feet swimming under the pond, her face in a contorted shape, she was holding a piece of fabric and on the other hand was a blunt tapestry needle.
Humming he headed out towards the grounds again, he was just tired of the mundane schoolwork day after day. Really was looking forward to the holidays coming up. Heading back towards the duck pond, Isaac buried his hands in the pockets of his warm jacket. It was chilly out but not too bad, really considering it was December. His mouth covered with hem of his jacket his eyes peeking out as he stood on the edge of the pond.

Looking over he saw a girl not too far from him actually sewing something... Weren't her fingers numb??? he wondered in surprise. "Aren't ye cold?" he asked heading her way, after a moments hesitation. After all, she was a girl...and someone he definitely didn't know. He'd given up on trying to find Amelia, she always seemed to disappear, and though it hurt not to have her around so much, he was starting to get used to that fact, which really depressed him even more, but he wasn't going to let others see that!
