Ah, the beauty of dragons. William sometimes thought they were at their most terrifying and beautiful WHEN they were angry, but that was just him.

So JT really WOULD reserve a spot for him? Even if it was in Brazil, that wasn't bad! Brazil had loads of hot babes and a rainforest Willy could live in. Man, he was set. He was willing to bet even Oliver would follow him to Brazil. Heh.

"Sounds like a plan, JT my man. I'll keep your CoMC grade up, and you'll keep in mind for Department Head of Magical Creatures wherever you end up. Sound good? Awesome." Willy was clearly getting the better end of the bargain here, especially since he couldn't actually falsify grades without getting caught, but the Slytherin in him wasn't about to admit to that.

Awww. "Now that's a shame," William frowned, still leading the way up to the castle. Are you sure it's not because the UK is too cold for ya, kid? is what he WANTED to say, but didn't. "I'd vote for you anyway. Minister of Magic: 2100! Or whenever. It could still happen, you never know."

Heck, a Cult of Weirdos had practically taken over the government just last year. João Marcelo Mendonça Nascimento Teixeira Neves was surely a better alternative than that.
Wasn't that kind of a contradiction, then? The professor had just said it would remember its father, that being him actually, but on their own they were 'solitary' and tended to team up only to attack. So what, it would remember about Professor only when it was hungry and wanted to hunt?! Oh... oh! Imagine that! Even more reasons to keep clear of them. Had he promised loosening the regulations? He should make them stricter!

Better not to explain his decision, though... he had built a decent relationship there, and no need to just destroy it. He hoped that momentarily disgusted face would be interpreted as his horror about Muggles' case. Hopefully, Professor William didn't know how to read minds. Better to only nod thoughtfully and stop talking about them. Yeah.

"It's a good deal, professor," he said with a smirk-smile. He actually imagined it for a moment, all the power and the freedom of doing nearly anything he wished, the financial benefits, the feeling that a huge community depended on his decisions...

Okay, not so far. He was still 18 and had a long way to go. Still, dreaming of it was enough to cheer him up despite the cold jokes of Professor who was to be eaten by a dragon. Shame. He really looked like he would do a good job too.

2100? It was too far away! Would it really take him that long to reach the spot? Then he would be over 40 and... old. "Thank you, professor! I'll look to make the relations better anyway wherever I end up." Not that they were bad, but they could get better.

"Which house were you in, if you'd studied here?" he asked all of a sudden.
