Hogwarts RPG Name: Samuel Chevalier Graduated x2
| Aidella | King of Confusion | Brittana | Forever ACROMANTULA Paulie stretched his right wrist a little. Sheesh, this note-taking was beefing up his arm forearm muscles! After dipping his quill in his ink again, the boy set off to complete his own calculations to find his character number. SPOILER!!: Meanings
18.)
This number has a difficult symbolism to translate. It is pictured as "a rayed moon from which drops of blood are falling; a wolf and a hungry dog are seen below catching the falling drops of blood in their opened mouths, while still lower a crab is seen hastening to join them." It is symbolic of materialism striving to destroy the spiritual side of the nature. It generally associates a per*son with bitter quarrels, even family ones, also with war, social upheavals, revolutions; and in some cases it indicates making money and position thorough wars or by wars. It is however a warn*ing of treachery, deception by others, also danger from the elements such as storms, danger from water, fires and explosions. When this "compound" number appears in working out dates in advance, such a date should be taken with a great amount of care, caution and circumspection.
27.)
This is a good number and is symbolized as "the Sceptre." It is a promise of authority, power and command. It indicates that reward will come from the productive intellect; that the creative faculties have sown good seeds that will reap a harvest. Persons with this "command" number at their back should carry out their own ideas and plans. It is a fortunate number if it appears in any connection with future events.
29.)
It is not a fortunate number for the indication of future events. This number indicates uncertainties, treachery, and deception of others; it foreshadows trials, tribulation, and unexpected dangers, unreliable friends, and grief and deception caused by members of the opposite sex. It gives grave warning if it comes out in anything concerning future events.
Okay! Well, after reading the first meaning, Paulie thought none of it applied to him very much until it cautioned him about the dangers of explosions, and then that part about wars, too. That all freaked him out. His dad died when his plane crashed on down and exploded in his fighter plane. And now Paulie was off to join the military this coming year and the thing was cautioning him about wars and taking "great amounts of care, caution and circumspection" in the future.
Gulp. Well... maybe the next one would be better and balance out the badness of the first description? Fortunately, it was a good description. Although he wasn't sure if it exactly 'balanced out' the former one. It was dead on about carrying out one's own ideas and plans, because Paulie was ALWAYSSS coming up with new, albeit crazy, ideas and plots. He smiled a bit, and read up on his final number.
And... right off the bat, he was told it was an unfortunate number. So much for that. He read on, only to find out that it WAS horrible. Like... really horrible. Treachery, trials, tribulations? Unexpected dangers, unreliable friends, AND grief and deception caused by members of the opposite sex?!
Paulie paled. According to this, he was going to be lose Louisa and Adam as friends - on top of his other friends, too - Tori was going to cheat on him and their relationship would end, AND he was going to be backstabbed in the military, which would lead to his imminent DEATH.
Wow, this was bad. He took a deep breath. Okay, it's only Arithmancy class, right? Breeeaaathe.
Of course it was probably all rubbish anyway..... right?
He quickly pushed these thoughts away and then flipped through the pages for his character number meaning.
....
At least this one was just confusing, and not necessarily wholly bad..?
