Watching (and eating) as everyone else filtered in, Roxanne answered everyone as they greeted her or the room at large. Soon, the meeting started. She quickly and discretely swallowed her remaining bit of pastry and wiped any crumbs off her face while the Head man was speaking.
Good, they were going to go around and introduce themselves. Newbies first. She nodded as everyone stood and said their name, where they were from and their position in the department, taking note of the new faces. Pretty soon it was her turn. "Hello, I'm Roxanne Carter. I am originally from Albany, New York, though I live here in London now, obviously. I currently work in the Wizgamot as a Ministry Legislator," she said, a friendly smile on her face. Sitting back down, she crossed her legs and waited for the next person to go.
