Aria literally cringed when she saw the smile the Professor was now giving her. Merlin's beard, she had really done it now! She did her best to meet the woman's gaze, ready to accept whatever was in store for her now. The fourth year frowned when Arscott commented on her good behavior and how the summer might have changed things. Seriously? What did she know about Aria's summer? She couldn't possibly understand what had-O_o And WHY was she looking at her like she did know everything that had went wrong? It gave Aria a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. When punishment was handed out, Aria simply nodded and looked down at her desk. This would be her first detention EVER and her dad would never forgive her. How was she supposed to make it up to him? Not even her perfect grades impressed him and this? THIS was going to make things even worse between them.
Aria watched the scene play out between Eric and the new professor quietly, wondering what was going to happen next. Good, so he wasn't going to be poisoned...not that she cared or anything. But wait, had she just threatened them? What did she mean by 'on the safe side'? One thing was for sure, this class was quickly becoming one she wished she didn't have to take.
