Kyle couldn't help but chuckle when Preston made a mess of the table - taking it as a way to meet the young man - after all he did look familiar and she couldn't quite put a finger on it. They probably went to the same school and he was just a young little fry of a boy when she was there obviously because he didn't look a day over seventeen.

Walking over - and making sure her shoes didn't snap and send her vaulting into the table - causing even more of a mess she smiled over to Preston. "Hello" she smiled and grabbed a sandwich off of the table. "You know you can use magic to clean it - you don't have to do it by hand" she offered with a smile. "Don't worry you didn't do as dreadful of a thing as me - you see that thing sticking out of the ceiling over there?" She offered pointing to the protruding heel of a shoe "that used to be attached to my shoes" she added with a smile. "I'm Kyleigh Manning - the new ministry scribe" she smiled and then noticed the well-dressed-smiler.

Hello sandwich grabbing smiling guy. It was almost creepy to be smiling and munching on a sandwich but she didn't say anything she just returned the smile. "Hello" she offered a quick smile to the older man and put down her plate on the edge of the table quite precariously. Not thinking that if anyone were to do anything to the table it might as well launch itself onto someone - or something.

"I'm Kyleigh Manning - you can call me Kyle, Leigh...anything really - er what do you do here in the minister's office?" She asked smiling over to the older man. She didn't know if he was new like her or had been there before so well, she was being awfully nice. That and he could be scribe number two and she'd have to sit in a room with him taking notes on everything said, and she was going to write down everything - even when they told her to stop writing because she was a great scribe and would dictate whatever she was told.

She'd spent the entire previous night wandering whether people would like her or not. Time would tell.

Looking up she noticed another woman enter the break room - the brunette looked quite stunning to be honest. Smiling over to the woman Kyleigh waved, a quick hello was in order wasn't it?

"Hello - I must say that is an adorable sweater-thing" she pointed at her own shoulder indicating where she meant. Of course the sweater was on her shoulders and not wrapped in her hair like a turban. What was Kyle doing?

Oh just being her awkward little self. Where was Simon when she needed him?

Oh right - he was on level two probably getting the fourth degree about being oh so happy lately. Oh she hoped he was happy if he wasn't happy that wouldn't be good and why wouldn't he be happy when he was dating her? Right.
