Little Dora had placed her shoes in her bag, not cause she didn't trust any of the other students to steal or mess with them, but because she didn't wanna have to scramble with the others to retrieve them when class was over. She would just leaved in socked feet.
This practicing with the finger thing.. it was interesting cause it was weird and not how she practiced stuff with a wand. Still she did her best practicing with her finger, imagining that she was levitating classmates' shoes with each swish and flick.
