Lewis had been busying himself with taking notes, not really in the mood to join in on any of the conversations going on around him. No instead his mind continued to drift off to other places and he even started doodling on his piece of parchment. Seriously, what was wrong with him lately!? Well, he knew what was wrong really but he'd never thought that it would affect him so much. So much that he wasn't even paying attention in class anymore.
Bleh.
His attention was once again caught when Professor Magnus started explaining the difference between a charm and a transfiguration spell once again and how blurry the borders between the two were sometimes. Taking the occasional note, Lewis then quickly raised his hand just so he would make sure to pay attention in class again. I VOLUNTEER! "I-I can demonstrate Aguamenti, professor." They'd been doing it in Herbology a lot so he was sure he could do it. Oh and also in Transfiguration last term, right?
So yeah, he was certain he could demonstrate that spell without embarrassing himself. |
