Background:
Kristian has been the gem of her parents’ eyes since she was born. Her parents had met when her father (Ethan) took a trip to France one summer and found the stunning beauty that was her mother (Clarissa). Not able to withstand the mermaids beauty the two found themselves expecting a child before they knew it. Kristian’s earliest memories involve large bodies of water and long , relaxing swims with her mother. Knowing that their daughter had more than just the abilities given to her from the mermaid genes of her mother, they sent her to Beauxbaton’s Academy of Magic to receive what they believed would have been the best education.
At present she has a strong distrust of muggles after having walked through a muggle market with her mother at the age of 10 and having a terrible run in with a few muggle children who called her names once they saw her move water without touching it. She finds magical creatures and ‘normal’ people (as she calls the witches and wizards) much more refreshing and much better company.

Personality:
She can be a bit difficult to get along with for persons who don’t know her and this can be because of what is perceived as an overly competitive drive that lives in her. To her friends, however, she is simply the playful, charming and witty young halfa that they know and love. She has a bit of an argumentative side and her mouth often gets her into trouble but never seriously and she has an almost irrational fear of fire (whether small match lights or blazing forest fires). She treasures her friends and likes to grant their wishes but outside of that she has sworn off of wish granting as she finds some people to be unappreciative of her talents. Most times she’s smiling but when she’s upset she’s the last person you want to be around, when she does get upset—keep her away from water! In general though she is free spirited and at times finds it difficult to take things seriously (this sometimes makes her come across and being uncaring or immature but really this is her way of coping).

When you walked out
Lily Heath, a halfblood witch, was born and raised in west Wales in Britain. She and her two brothers were raised in relative comfort, and all attended Hogwarts. Lily went on to wizarding university and became a magical translator for the Ministry of Magic, translating languages from Ancient Runes to Korean to Mermish. It was while she was working in London that Lily met Nile Delta, a German-born Muggle translator for a Japanese diplomat who was in England on official business. Nile never returned to Japan with the diplomat, instead staying in London with Lily until they married.

Isabelle was the second born of five children to Lily and Nile. She was brought up in London, close to both the Muggle government offices where her father worked and the Ministry of Magic where her mother worked. It was apparent from an early age that Izzy had inherited her mother's talent for languages. Lily encouraged this, talking to her daughter in many tongues until Izzy was fluent in them all. The family always travelled to German once a year to see Nile's family, and Izzy surprised and delighted her paternal grandparents by talking to them in German at 3 years old.

Isabelle went to Hogwarts at 11, and almost instantly made friends with Tyler Bennett, a Ravenclaw boy in her year. Tyler and Izzy often played pranks together and were widely known as the eccentric pair of Ravenclaw. In their fifth year they started dating, and became known as one of the happiest couples in the school. As they were coming home on the Hogwarts Express from their sixth year, however, Tyler broke up with Isabelle for reasons unclear to her. Izzy was left feeling confused and abandoned by the boy who had been her best friend.

I don't know how much more love this heart can lose
Isabelle is smart, smarter than is good for her some would say. She reminds you of a bird - always flitting around, chirping her heart out. She is playful and often likes to tease, but this is never mean-spirited. Izzy is a flirt, always has been, and is outwardly very strong. She knows people are likely to gossip about how her relationship with Tyler ended, and is determined to act as normal as possible.

Some personality traits...
Miranda is a brave, but shy girl. When she see's knew people, she takes a while to get used to being around them. She'll swim at a distance for a little while, and once she knows you're not going to hurt her, she's all for being friends. On the outside, she's a shy girl. But on the inside, there's an adventurer waiting to get out. She is a great listener, but when she gets talking, she won't stop. She'll talk about the adventures she wants to have, or a new song she learned. But if you know Miranda, you know all she can talk about is the Wizarding world.

And some backstory...
Miranda's mother always says that she was born singing. When she sang, the oceans stood still. All the sea creatures listened to what she had to say. If she was sad, she would sing, and all the creatures would weep with her. But her parents never knew where she got her talent. Both her parents failed their singing classes. She, on the other hand, failed her swimming class (known as Gym to muggles). She wasn't a very fast swimer, nor did she like swimming for a grade. She prefered to take it easy, and just 'go with the flow'. Both physically and mentally. She would sit on a rock, and watch the waves go by, wondering what was above the waters. Then one day, she fell asleep when floating with the waves. She woke up on a beach, with a teen boy sitting next to her, and a bunch of muggles passing by as if she didn't exist. This boy was a wizard, who had put a protective charm around her, to keep her safe. Ever since then, she found wizards to be fascinating. But when she brought them up to her parents, they said they were bad people. Miranda could never figured out why.

Now Miranda is on her last year of school, and has found out about the Beauxbatons. She visits the kids sometimes, and has made friends with a witch, but it turns out she is spending a year at a new school, Hogwarts. Determined to see the rest of the wizarding world, Miranda mapped out a route to the school's lake, and has spent the summer gearing up for her trip.

Meet Kelsey Quinn

Kelsey grew up with her family in France, until one tragic day where her family got lost at sea and she was the only survivor. Stranded on a deserted island, one night Kelsey was turned into a half mermaid in a magical storm.

She has a very sweet disposition, and mostly lives to have fun! She is giggely and smiley and has a kind nature. She
prefers her mermaid form to her human form because she can frolick and play in the water all day and not have to worry about the burdens of regular teenage life. Just because she is sweet doesnt mean she doesnt speak up! Kelsey has no llimits and will not hesitate to say what she needs to say or do what she needs to do. This doesnt always lead to her favour though because she can end up in trouble when her plans dont work out.

History:

Elizabeth May Ferguson Ferguson was born in a muggle hospital to a Pureblood family on 18th September as the third oldest of four children. Her parents spoiled her from the very beginning when she had heaps of clothes and toys, not just from relatives and friends who had sent gifts. That was because her only sister was such a tomboy and she was technically the only girl. Girly girl, anyway. When her little brother was born, and she was four, they adored each other and when they grew older did everything together, from skateboarding to picnics. They didn’t really have any other children to play with for they lived in a giant house in the countryside, so they only had each other.

They were a blood-traitor family, as proud Pureblood familes called them, like everyone in the family, although their blood was just as pure as these Purebloods, who were so haughty about it. They learnt not to care at this nickname, but to hold their heads up high and show that Purebloods were way below their level.

Lizzie found, as she grew older, that she had the most amazing voice and spent most of her time in her giant bedroom practicing and learning new songs. Her parents and siblings were very impressed. When the two older children went to Hogwarts, she was SO jealous that she could burst! She missed them too, of course.

"Hufflepuff!” the hat shouted. It did take a while though. Ravenclaw was most definitely an option, but all her family had been in the house of the Badgers which was the awesomest house, Ravenclaw second. Liz had some familiar faces as her twin brother and sister were there at the time, although she made friends and didn’t need her siblings much. Also as an ickle firstie, she was made seeker on the Quiddich team because she was quite small. She liked Quiddich, and had had practice at home in the grounds of her house. She was a speedy flyer.

In third-year, Ben came at last! Elizabeth guided him round although her brother already knew the castle inside out because of the tales she had told him during holidays. But still, he worshiped her, especially when she was made a Prefect in her fifth-year and became Head Girl in seventh.
