While walking to the Whomping Willow, Louisa just basically explained then ending of the movie. The Gaston person and this Belle girl with the blonde prince creature. It was a nice story, not many wizard's fairy tale is like that. How the scenes where that complicated and such. It's quite nice to hear a glimpse of it. Besides, he has heard his best friend talking about muggle story books a lot. He's beginning to think that maybe he should try reading more of them, yes? Problem is, he doesn't own any of them.
He didn't speak much like the usual but this time he was more attentive with her explanation. She even had those funny hand gestures that made him smile. What? They were very funny. And for once, Jonathan did feel loosen up. It was nice to feel like that for once. "That's story is just...." he lowered his head as he slowly shook "...complicated" yup, that's the whole thing. The whole story from start to finish is just bloody complicated. Her father is an inventor, she loves to read books, he is in love with her because of her looks, she hates him for his arrogance and then she falls in love with some arrogant creature who happens to be a cursed handsome prince? MERLIN. What was the author thinking putting so many things in one book? And this story is a fairytale right? Do muggle kids catch up with all the complex story line too?
Jonathan eyed the one area and walked towards it. He sat down without even caring he is sitting on the ground. Then she talked about disliking the ending because it's 'too happy'. Jonathan snorted. Is it? Jonathan just thought it was perfectly fine because of the complicated and confusing start to finish story. The least the author could do is make the ending well.... not too twisted. He glanced over to Louisa as he crossed his legs "What? You're expecting for all of them to die?" he said giving out a small laugh.
However, he did ignore the latter part of what she said. Louisa could do whatever she wants and she didn't need to tell him that. Jonathan followed the trunk of the Whomping Willow and then back at Louisa "It would be nice to go up that tree, don't you think?" he said. It just came out but really... wouldn't it be awesome. You get to have all that adrenaline rush.
Louisa plopped down next to Jonathan, scooting a bit to the side so that the tree was on her left and the boy was on her right. Complicated? SNORT. "
Come oooonnn. The Fountain of Fair Fortune, from the tales of beedle the bard is a lot more complicated than this." She raised her arms in the air to indicate the clarity of this. "
A girl falls in love with a monster. He turns out to be a prince. They live happily ever after." HULLO? That's pretty much what all fairy tales are about.
Giggling she replied, "
Nooo! Not like die.. but.. I don't know." Louisa stared off thoughtfully with a grin plastered on her face, "
The monster could still be a monster and not die. Then Belle would marry him just the way he is." Yep, that was Louisa's type of stories. Reasonable, a bit sad and realistic. She shrugged, "
I guess that's why I don't get along with many." 'cause mostly people are just 'too happy' for her liking.
His attention was drawn to the tree then - not just any tree,
the Whomping Willow tree. Louisa squinted her eyes at Jonathan, did he have a death wish now that he broke up with Kurumi? Did she have to keep an eye on him all the time? That could be a bit problematic since she can't keep this bickering-free conversations for long. "
No, actually it doesn't." Louisa lied as her eyes were staring still at the boy as if he was sick, "
Last term, Treyen immobolized it for me and I got pretty close to it. Believe me," she scoffed, "
It's overrated. Too woody. Too old. Too smelly. Not the type of tree you'd want to climb at all." All were lies but for a good cause.
Changing the subject. "
Was it really your first experience in the movie, then? You've never seen a muggle movie before?" She hugged her knees as she beamed at him. WAS SHE HIS FIRST CINEMA TOUR GUIDE? Louisa liked to be firsts.
