He leaned at the wall and still didn't answer her. What was the point anyway? It's not like it'll make things okay right, no? His head slowly faced Louisa as he mustered up all of his breath and looked at her, smiling even though his eyes tells otherwise "You would laugh at it, really" --- there was nothing hilarious at it at all. It was his defense mechanism everytime someone asks if he was okay. He swallowed before answering her and this time the curve on his lips turned straight "...we broke up." He can hear as if glass were smashing after he said those. It was painful to admit it but that was all to it and nothing more.

Now can they talk about something else?

She'd laugh at it? Louisa raised her eyebrows, her fingers lingering on her mouth as she slipped some jelly beans in. What she'd seen inside wasn't 'humorous' at all. If anything, it was heartbreaking to see someone like Kurumi about to faint and being guarded by someone like Selina... it was also annoying to be ignored by Lewis who she'd just called 'cool' and a 'friend'. Louisa's mouth would've dropped open if she wasn't biting into those jelly beans that tasted just SO WRONG now. She held one finger up to stop Jonathan from any sudden movements or further speaking as she swallowed her candy and started, "What do you mean 'we broke up'?" That was a rhetorical question, by the way. "How do you think this is funny to me, Jonathan?" Louisa had a very serious, scary louisa look on her face right then. She sighed and slouched her shoulders a bit, "I'm really sorry to hear that."

Pause...

...she didn't really want to pry or to be annoyingly curious or the pain in the butt...

.."What did you do?" But it was against her nature. At least Louisa's tone was soft! And disappointed. "I don't want to blame you or anything but, come on, Jonathan, who'd break up with Kurumi? I think the girl has very big of a heart that extends to other species like house-elves and other weird creatures." Everyone knew that. Her boyfriend should know it the most, right?
