"Oh well don't say to many nice things, I might start getting a big head." she joked with him glad to see him smiling. "I am just me, that's really all I can be. I don't think he minds me.." she couldn't help but smile over this. "I think things are going pretty good and I'm glad they are friends again, it makes things easier for all of us."
Maxwell nodded. "I know what you mean, remember the tree i crashed into over the summer?" He asked rubbing his own back a little. "I was so busy trying to actually go to all my classes that i missed Gryffindor tryouts." He said with a half smile, he really wanted to bring his grades up to impress Taylor and prove to Damon that he wasn't stupid.
Maxwell laughed a little. "I think you can handle it." He said jokingly about the big head. "I'm glad things are going good for you two...and yeah I'm happy they stayed friends.." He said still angry about being lied to, he didn't care they were friends, he'd said it plenty of times so he didn't understand the need for lies. Although he was still uncomfortable with the kisses on the cheek and all the affection, but he was raised differently and he wasn't going to try and stop them.
