So she was really going to work with him,
huh?
Despite all his sulky expression and attitude,
huh?
Her choice, even if it seemed to Joćo she was doing it only for extra points. Or else, who would go any closer to that piranha thing PLUS work with a sulky, quite capable of insulting people seventh year male Slytherin PLUS stay at the class while they could simply leave? NO ONE. He just hoped that Professor wouldn't give her ANY extra points at all.
And unlike her running to the plant
oh so eagerly that I'm gonna cry!, he actually waited a bit distanced and observed the plant. Because it had signals of waking up and he wanted to make sure it was only an illusion of his psychological state at that moment, thanks to Aspen. He didn't say any word to the girl, though. He hoped it really was waking up for a moment to teach a lesson to the kid, but alas. It wasn't. Still, he watched it for a full minute without even blinking, because one couldn't be
too sure.
When it was positive the plant didn't move, he walked up next to the girl and got some thread to floss the teeth. It was GROSS that he could puke at any moment. He contained himself though, because it'd be much better if he just did the task at hand and did not draw any attention to himself.
At least the KID kept silent too.
