AND THAT BIG BOY THREATENED HIS SISTER!
The first year whirrrrled around and then chaaaarged. Like a tiny battering ram, and ran full tilt into that big Slytherin.
*HEADBUTTTTTT!*

But this time not in English.
Or gobbledygook.
Hmmm. Aspen continued eying him like HE was the specimen to be studied, not the sleepy, sedated tooth plant that was waking.
Tiny as it may be, it was quick, this Odessa-shaped battering ram.
...
Was it horrible that some small part of Aspen waited expectantly for the Piranha to latch onto Loud Threatening Slytherin Boy and take a chomp after West headbutted him? Even in the current setting, where her and West were probably about to get expelled and have to perpetually live with their Aunt Linda and their neanderthal cousins, it'd still be fascinating to watch someone get bitten.
Aspen didn't move to stop West, but she HAD noted Older Boy With Attitude with his wand earlier. If he even HINTED at using his wand on her little brother, Aspen was going to be on him. So much for blending in unnoticed during the rest of class....
Aspen reached for West to pull him UP and AWAY and towards her. And away from the plant. Admittedly, it'd be less interesting if he got bit. "Away from the plant, West."

Despite not hearing her name, she had turned to the group which had caught her attention. West, Aspen and Joćo.
"You three," she called out, eyeing them as she approached. "What's going on?" In other words, explain yourselves and make it quick.
She spared the plant a look. It was safe.. thank Merlin for them.
Heart beating at its full pace, Joćo had just stopped and turned around to see if the plant had
really moved when he was hit from the behind quite forcefully. He shrieked this time, and fell on his back with whatever hit him under his body. In the meantime, with that fear and confusion, his wand had fallen from the wrist holster into his hand and shooted some spell in some direction he couldn't even control. Whatever done was done. Rolling quickly to get up, face all flushed red, he directed the wand at the
thing that caught so much commotion. The Ravenclaw girl had beaten him to it though and she was already getting... oh. It was a little boy. Joćo lowered his wand quickly not to be misunderstood as if he had intended to shoot him. Well, he
had, and he
would have, but for the professor right there who demanded to know what was going on.
He, himself, didn't know it exactly either, to be honest. All he knew was, that plant did move, and this boy hit him.
Although, that girl had got him up almost caringly. She also knew his name. To make it worse, the boy was a Slytherin. Why hitting another Slytherin, in front of a PROFESSOR, who was
sure to deduct points for disturbing the class?! His confusion turned into anger. Putting more distance between himself and the plant and that over-excited ram-like boy; he said, in an attempt to beat them to answering Professor Bentley:
"She--she made fun of my obvious reservation about this plant and he hit me on purpose from behind. So my wand shooted blindly." A quick, effective summary. See? He was COMPLETELY innocent!
