When it was his turn, Kaiden, turned his book so that the others could see it. 'MY favorite books are the Ranger's Apprentice series. This is the first book in the series, The Ruins of Gorlan. I like it because, the main character learns about a lot of the things I like."
The ruins of Gorlan? Amelia couldn't believe what was coming out of Kaiden's mouth. It sounded like - like it were a magical book...but also not. Since Gorlan didn't sound like anything any reputable witch or wizard would call their castle. Since well, most castles were named after their owners or more so - the land around it. Unless it were a goblin castle - she didn't understand Goblins yet. But she would.

When it came her time to speak she picked up the book she had brought and smiled. "I brought a very old - over two hundred years old I think...I don't remember its a muggle book compilation written by Lyman Frank Baum." She smiled, "it chronicles a young girl Dorothy and her travels through the mythical land of Oz - its a land where witches and wizards are real and there's an evil witch called the wicked witch of the west and her sister from the east and the good witch of the north and the good witch of the south...basically each book follows the story of each of her friends and it shows the fight between good and evil and how good always overcomes evil in the end."

And many other things like the power of imagination and how amazing ruby slippers were. Right? "My mom read the book to me as a kid - and I always loved watching the muggle moving picture rendition of it as a kid...daily to be exact but really its not the real thing to get the real thing you need to read about the Tick Tock of Oz and all the other characters not shown in the movie...also - its just nice reading it. My mum would read it and I'd put my head on her stomach and listen to her words as she spoke and to how her heart would thump excitedly in the dangerous scenes" she nodded excitedly. She loved the gurgling stomach sounds most of all.
