She grabbed the roll of minty floss that the Professor given them to use for their plant. It was definitely way thicker than the one she used for her teeth. WAY THICKER!! Alyssa giggled. If she had a camera right now, she would ask Oakey to take a picture of her flossing the Piranha Plant's teeth.

She first twirled one end of the floss around the index of her right gloved hand and then pulled at least 2 feet length's worth before taking out her wand and saying "Diffindo" to cut the thread. She twirled that end around and around and around the index finger of her left gloved hand until there was at least 6 inches of floss hanging between her two fingers. Then Alyssa spread her hands apart, so that the floss became taut. before approaching the plant. She leaned forward, trying to hold her breath and she started with the plant's back teeth.

She stuck the thread in between the gap of the tooth and started pulling it back and forth, trying to remove any food that was lodged inside the gap. Once she was done working with the back tooth, she moved on to the one next to it, twirling the yucky portion of the used floss around her right index finger, while releasing at least another 6 inches of floss from her left index finger. She repeated the process again of pulling the floss back and forth in the gap between the teeth. She almost gagged when she saw pieces of raw meat dislodge from the tooth. She turned to see whether Oakey had seen that.

"Did you see that? The piece of meat that fell out when I flossed the tooth? I wonder what this Piranha plant just ate. Do you want to try flossing the plant's tooth or continue brushing it's teeth? You really don't have to be afraid of it you know." She tried to assure Oakey before leaning forward to whisper in his ear. "Oakey, do you mind telling me what happened that caused this fear of Flesh Eating Plants. I saw what happened last term when we had to work with the Snargalpuffs. You know that you can trust me."
