John chuckled, yes indeed he needed a cowboy hat. He would feel even cooler than he does now. "Dude I totally want a cowboy hat now! I'll look even cooler. He nodded and replied "Ready, as I'll ever be." he sighed as was ready to begin the assignment.
John then turned his attention to the plant. He first wanted to touch the teeth, however that probably wasn't the safest thing to do so he scanned the plant. "Cool" He chuckled as he eyed the plant. He grabbed the floss, wrapping it around his two index fingers. He tugged it and look at Kennedy with wide eyes and a grin on his face.
Ken, I think we should floss first!" he pointed out as he was ready to start cleaning and brushing, teeth. "Hold its mouth open" he said as he got near the plants mouth. He blessed himself, "I'm going in!..." John said with a very determined look on his face.
Kennedy tried to stifle his laugh, but failed. He could already picture John with a cowboy hat. At his friend's second comment it was almost impossible to resist a laugh, but he managed to calm himself.
"I'm not wearing a hat." And they weren't going to be called Los Cowboys. Just no. Kennedy rolled his eyes and turned his attention to the piranha plant.
His fingers were already tingling and ready to get to work, but it seem Johnathan was more excited than he was. He resembled a first year walking into the Great Hall for the first time. Hehe.
"I thought you were going to put up a fight when it came to this," Kennedy said, as he approached the plant and took the top it mouth and pulled it gently up.
The first thing the boy did was peer into the the piranha's mouth and scrunched his nose. Boy was he glad it was asleep. Kennedy looked up at John and hoped for the plant's sake that he didn't do it too roughly.
"Go...just be careful....with it." Yes, he was a bit more worried about the plant's safety than John's.
