Piranha plants?! Just the sheer fact that they were CALLED Piranha plants made Lewis want to leave the class right away ~~screaming~~. This couldn't be anything good. It wasn't that he was necessarily scared of plants in general, he just wasn't very good at handling them so if this plant was as dangerous as the name suggested and he did something wrong thent...he really didn't want to go to the Hospital Wing that early into term.

If he just didn't look at the plants, maybe they would go away?

Putting on his dragonhide gloves VERY slowly so he wouldn't have to look at the plants, Lewis bit his lip and heaved a sigh once he was done with that. Okay, now there was just no way around it. He had to turn around and-

Yeah. They looked just as scary as their name suggested. And probably were too. Oh no. The only comfort was that they were supposed to work in pairs. So maybe if he just found a partner who would do the actual 'touching-the-plant' part he might be fine. Glancing around the room for somebody available, Lewis spotted the girl whose cat had licked his shoes on the train. That new Ravenclaw Prefect. Louisa. And she was staring at the plants.

In awe, hopefully.

Quickly walking over to her - she had seemed nice enough on the train - Lewis tried to swallow any hint of nervousness and poked her arm softly. "Louisa? Do you...do you still need a partner?" Yes? Please? And hopefully she was like an expert in Herbology too.
