No, for many reasons; these books are very old and any food in the library could and will damage them which would cause the school a lot of grief. It would take invaluable time to clean it up. You also have the great hall to eat at and the library is for reading and studying, a quiet, place.
Is the library supposed to be a center for drama or learning? (pick one of them, explain why)
Learning, you can find a place to start drama in other places. The library is full of many books and stories that can help you not only in your classes, but alsp in normal, non-school activities.
