As she ran the fist twenty yards, she coughed and breathed heavily trying to get air to her lungs. But once she hit the twenty-one yard mark she started to exclaim random words and phrases to help her reach her goal in a therapeutic way, "Merlin... CART... running... WHY?? Quidditch... not ready... cookies.... nap.... RUN!"

The last five yards, she ran them over a rock which made the cart hop a little, but then she saw the end in sight. Finding some energy deep within herself, she sprinted the last five yards and passed the finish line!

Then she released the handle and collapsed on the ground, "AHHHH!"

Professor Elwood stood up straighter as she saw that one group was finished and beginning to run directly at her. The Divination Professor clapped as they continued to make their way to the finish line and had to jump out of the way at the last minute--that Quidditch Captain was running fast, yet blindly.

Once she picked up her fallen turbin, the woman grinned happily and looked at the girls. "Congradulations Selina and Kurumi dears, you two will both get 5 bonus points."

"Everyone, we have our first winners! There is still time for one more team to cross and earn bonus points!" They had all done so well so far.

OCC: Even though these two won first, there is room for one more team. After them, continue to do it b/c you will still be earning regular house points for participation.

I am heading off to sleep b/c I have a pretty bad cold and am not feeling the greatest but I WILL see who wins and such so no worries there. If another group wins just continue to post and get your group across.
