Ira beamed as she as appreciated. Then came the fun part. So.. they were actually gonna dress up as those show-offs fortune tellers! But why? What did this all mean? Ira didn't ask, hoping that all would be clearer as the lesson would proceed. But it did appear to be fun. VERY MUCH FUN! Anything was better than sitting bored, listening to the lecture!

Ira excitedly got up and went over to the trunks. Wow! What a variety! There were so many different attires and rings and necklaces and skirts, all in many bright colors! It would be so FUN getting dressed, especially since they could choose ANYTHING they wanted! Nope, Ira wasn't particularly interested in dressing up, but as an alternative to a lesson, even this was welcome!

See? One of the advantages of being a girl was THIS! They could don all sorts of things and still look GOOD!

Ira picked out a long flowy purple skirt.. lined by silver border.. but nope. This wasn't it! Something more bright.. Then finally she chose a bright orange skirt. And a kaftan like top to go with it. Yep! This was what she had seen those fortune tellers wearing.

And now for the jewelry! MANY necklaces, MANY bangles, MANY rings! Everything was MANY! Ira wore them all. And then looked at herself.

Her hands were full with colorful bangles and way TOO MANY rings! In short, she looked way TOO over dressed! But wasn't this way they were supposed to be? Yep! And she wasn't the only one looking like this.. so it was all okay!

Ginning wide, Ira followed others into the grounds as instructed.
