Cornelius, faced with the ladder before him, got half way up it before he decided to simply toss his messenger book bag up ahead of him, not pleased with the slow pace it was making him climb at. And so, the first thing seen of Cornelius Rune was his book bag, seeming to fly out of nowhere and settling just outside the trap door's opening. It was only there for a moment before its owner caught up at a speedy pace, popping his head up and glancing around at the room with mild interest in his light brown eyes. Whoa.
