Name: Selena Zabini-Riddle Year: Seventh House: Slytherin Should you be able to drink and eat anything you like in the library? (Yes/No, explain why)
I believe that one should be able to drink and eat in the library. Sometimes eating and drinking something can keep a person focused on the task at hand and can make it easier for kids to focus on studying as opposed to snoozing off in a textbook. As long as a student doesn't damage a book or attract any rodents, I don't see an issue with eating at the library. Plus, people will get the books dirty if they check them out and study at the Great Hall while eating anyways. Is the library supposed to be a center for drama or learning? (pick one of them, explain why)
The library is a center of learning about drama and other things. Is that one choice? The library is not only a place for a good nap when one needs one but it is a place to soak up the knowledge that one can get from books. Without learning in the library, we'd all fail our NEWTs and OWLs. Plus, it's a place that inspires one to pick up a book. Books are cool. They smell nice when they're new.
