Vindictus was still walking with a slight limp thanks to the Hufflepuff Seeker smashing into his right knee at the end of the Championship game. He nodded at his precious Ravenclaws as he made his way towards the Staff table, but he stopped and stared at the staff ensemble.

Who were these people? he thought as he scratched the top of his head. His seat was empty (which was good) and Tate was sitting to his left while Hecate was banished to the end. Max shrugged his shoulders and shook his head as he resumed walking towards the table.

Once he arrived, he slipped into his seat and happened to overhear Josephina's question to Tate.

"Yeah, where's my shiny trophy, Tate?" he asked.

"No," Tate settled back in his seat, leaving the photos there for Fina to examine if she so desired. There... she had to go and spoil his good mood with questions about that.

"It isn't about that thing at all. As a matter of fact, that thing is safely locked up in my office as I await a specialist from the Ministry. We were discussing how my daughter is the most adorable baby ever born in the entire history of adorable babies. Certainly not our troublesome little orb from last term." Troublesome, indeed. His own theories remained untested, but Tate was hoping to have things resolved soon.
