Laurel walked toward the Hufflpeuff table with a smile on her face. She had known since she had first learned about the houses that she would be joining Hufflepuff house. The seventh-year did feel a little awkward coming in to a house during her last year, which was weird enough, when it was already filled with people who knew each other. It was a good thing she was not shy.

"Hello," she said to the table at a whole. Maybe someone would hear her and talk to her and be her friend. If not, she would just leave and go sit at some other table, because she knew people from the other houses. But she did not know a single soul from the house that she had gotten sorted into. How sad and horrible ironic.
