As soon as she had gotten settled in her seat and discretely inspected the utensils Sophia got back to watching the students seated belows them. That was until someone else arriving caught her attention. And she was giving out gifts. Well then that was..odd.
She looked at the hand that the woman extended to her and internally cringed when the woman said she taught Muggle Studies. Really? They needed to do away with that discipline..if one could call it that. It was totally unnecessary as far as she was concerned. Anyways..this woman's hand.. She shook it gingerly and even forced a smile.
"Charmed...Sophia Bellaire, Charms Professor." As for the bag..she eyed it. No doubt it was filled with muggle things...blech.

New people meant new personalities. "Good evening." she smiled. She was nice, right? Mostly everyone here was, so there was hope!
And the seat next to her was being filled. She had been curious as to who would be sitting next to her. Hopefully the woman had good table manners, because she detested hearing the sound of people chewing, or seeing elbows on the table. Just..no. She did not approve of that.
"Good evening." She replied with a polite little nod in her direction.

OOOh Look it was Leo. She had met him during the summer in Diagon Alley. He was a nice man. Very decent as far as she was concerned, so she was sure they would get on very nicely. Besides, he seemed to be one of the few professors who was still not going through puberty. Such young faces..beautiful but young.
She gave him a little wave as he took his seat.
