It was just his way of greeting someone. He had learned it since he was a little kid and even today he used it. The Slytherin just thought it was funny how English people did the same thing to him hehe.

Daichi eyed the duck on the plate and shook his head. "Nah he can't fly, but Floppy can!" Because Floppy his best friend at the duck pond was a real duck...so he could fly. There was a smile on the boys face as he thought about the duck pond. "I want this feast to end so i can see him again!" ......If Murdoch had not removed the pond O__o Poor man cause if he did he had a very angry and lost Snake at his door.

Realizing that he was saying nonsense, not to him he thought he was perfectly sane saying those words but maybe Nora would find him strange, so he thought of something else to say when he was literally stared at by Jonathan on his side that he could not ignore it.

Feeling his eyes on him, the fourth year pretended not to have realized it and smiled at his big brother. Technically not his real brother but Kurumi and him were like big sister and big brother to him.

"You can eat 5 plates?!" The Slytherin could not help but stare at Jonathan in amazement. It was one of his special traits...believing everything that is said. Wait so was that what Louisa had meant? Daichi lost focus on where he was as he thought deeply. Her simple words were so confusing to him!

Snapping back to earth as he heard Jonathan say that he missed Mr.Duckles. A wide smile plastered on Daichi's face and he rubbed his left eye from under his glasses. "You did? awww Mr.Duckles missed you too!" Cause you know, he can speak to him and understand him. That's how he knows he missed him too. Uhuh.

"Yeah yeah half a term" Daichi said dismissively and waved his hand. He was about to hear WHY he had left so he sat at the edge of the bench seat wheeen... HE GOT NO ANSWER! Puffing his cheeks, Daichi rolled his eyes at the older Slytherin. "No..." he answered but his voice sounded low, almost like a whisper and he looked down at his lap.

After the mind reading talking hat (Sorting Hat) placed him into Slytherin, Xing becomes more nervous wondering how Slytherins are like. Wait! Didn't Daichi said he is in Slytherin? Thank goodness... Finally, someone he knows. Come to think of it, his dad did mention that he used to be in Slytherin too. So, is the placing relies on your blood line and connections? He has no idea...

As he reaches the table with people in green ties and scarves, Xing walks around to find an empty spot. Nervously, he sits dow and lowers his head, staring at the empty plate. One, he hopes there are no or at least not too many fangirls here. Two, he is STARVING.

It took him a few seconds to realize that a familiar boy had taken a seat near him. Daichi looked at the boy at the other side of the table and scratched his head. Where had he seen... OH! He suddenly remembered meeting him in Diagon Alley. "YOU'RE IN SLYTHERIN TOOOOO?!" He SHOUTED over to the boy and waved Mr.Duckles just like he had done to Selena. And it was then that he realized that the boy was looking at his plate so he probably did not know that duck boy Daichi was talking to him. Argh what was his name again? King ? Bing? Fing? .... "FIIIIING!"
