Louisa plopped down randomly on the bench next to a random someone. This whole 'pay close attention to firsties' thing was new to her. And out of character honestly, because she'd never paid any attention to anyone unless they were peculiar or friends. This badge was probably magical -see the joke? Good.

.... why was this boy staring up at the non-existent ceiling? Resting her chin on her palm, she followed his gaze. "It's like we're outside." The night sky above them and all, "It always mesmerized me in my first year." Which was five years ago. She looked down at him and stared for a moment thoughtfully. His face wasn't familiar at all.

Maybe he was one of the new transferred students?
