She was pulled out of her train of thought as the newcomer spoke to her, the woman from the store the same day she had met William.
"Good evening..." She hadn't caught her name EITHER. What in Merlin's beard had happened at this meeting if they hadn't even exchanged names properly? "I'm sorry I didn't hear your name back at the Menagerie but it's great seeing you too. We get to be feast and meal next-door neighbors." She said in her American accent, ending with a giggle. "There are alot of students here, huh?" She said gesturing towards the four long tables before them, her many bracelets jingling some more. She hadn't expected there to be so many...and they were all dressed the same! How was she going to tell them apart?! Oh?
"Oh, forgive me." she chuckled quietly. "Medea. Medea Romanos." She already knew what subject she taught, but goodness, how could Medea forget to introduce herself properly? Really. It was a question that started to stump her. Nevertheless, it wasn't the end of the world.
And there were those bracelets again.
"Yea..." she agreed, a little distracted, but she came back to reality after a second or so. "Though you get used to it after awhile. You must tell me though, where you get your lovely bracelets from. I noticed them back at the Menagerie but didn't have time to ask." Quote:

"Hi Medea," he added belatedly to the Defense professor, again attempting a failed smile. Oh whatever. Just because he'd been hanging out in a lot of fireplaces lately... As she was making herself comfortable, and after hearing her name, Medea leaned forward a little and looked past the divination professor to...William. He didn't quite look his usual prankster self. Not like the previous start of term feast that she'd witnessed, with that cheeky grin and whatnot. Or was that Oliver she was thinking of? "Hello Villiam." she smiled a little before her eyebrows knitted together in concern. Just a tad bit. A tad! "Are you alright?"
