Owls? What was that? Was it were you had to buy and owl and feed it? Probably not but then that she would do alright. "What are OWLS?" she asked curiously. So owls were only for fifth years she guessed so she have to it.
"I went to two schools. For my first two years I went to a private school near New York and for my third and fourth I went to another private school in Bad Gastein, Austria." she told the girl. That was pretty much her life.
Blink.
Seriously? She didn't know what OWLs were? She was pretty sure it wasn't just a Hogwarts thing. Beauxbatons also had it, expect they took it in sixth year.
"Oh, um, well OWLs is a series of examinations for each of the subjects that you took, its like this really huge exams where they see how much you've learn from first year to fifth year." She then rubbed the back of her neck before continuing
"It's usually a pretty big deal for students since the grades that you get for the exams decide what subjects you would be allowed to take for sixth year." "Wow, why do you move a lot?" Cass asked, surely it must be hard, switching from one curriculum to the next. Personally, she wouldn't have been able to deal if she had to switch schools every two years.
"Are they wizarding schools?" If they weren't, she would totally get how Leisel wouldn't have known about OWLs and all that.
