Dell's eyes cut towards his sister when Layla mentioned being happy to see him. He... yes, he would explain later. For now, he did his best to keep his game face on. As for how Dell knew this woman... well, she asked Layla, so Dell left it for her to answer. "If I'm not mistaken, weren't we ALL Ravenclaws?" And let's be real - Neptune Bott was not mistaken. She flashed them BOTH a grin before admiring Rodrigo's glittery arm. Neptune bent down until her nose nearly touched his elbow. "Did you smell it? You are the best smelling boy in this whole place, I bet!"
You're welcooooooome!, Neptune's expression SO clearly said to the glittery MLE'er.
She giiiiiggled at his question and shook her curls at him. "I don't think you want anything else. I think this will work for you." She turned to look at the other Ravenclaw, Kyleigh.
Then back to Rodrigo.
Then back to Kyleigh.
"Don't you think, Kyleigh? You could even buy it for Kyleigh." He couuuuuld. Neptune scrunched her nose up at whatever Kyleigh was pondering over. No no no no. She wanted Fairy Lights Glitter Potion! What was she doing there? No. Neptune was about to get her PRESENTS from Rodrigo! Quote:

Unless they opened a line of products for men, Rodrigo would probably be limited to, if best, the hair color changing potions. And that was a big if. He turned to Kyleigh, smiling.
"Do you actually want this stuff? I don't mind buying it if I have a legitimate reason to. . . " he sighed and noticed the bottle of confidence potion in her hands. "Are you getting that?" He asked, his brows furrowed slightly. Rodrigo was not one to believe in potions that "solved" problems such as confidence. Of course, potions that saved lives or had temporary enhancements of sorts, he had no problem with. But, he thought, he was getting ahead of himself. He looked at both Neptune and Kyleigh, smiling. It was only a few more steps and the movement had brought Simon up close enough to see Kyle clearly and clarify it was indeed his friend. However on closer inspection it wasn't just her but a young man their age that he didn't know the name of but had seen him around the department. Not to mention another Ravenclaw far more flaboyant then the other two that he clearly remembered as Neptune Bott.
Bott was trying to demonstrate a product on her perhaps reluctant volunteer and Simon debated whether he should be making his presence known. He was leaning towards joining Kyle seeing as appear to be watching her from a distance might appear a bit stalkerish and creepy. But hearing what was being said stopped him in his tracks.
The man...buy something...for Kyle?
They were seeing each other?!
After all the purchase seemed a bit weird for just friends. And there was certainly that impression especially when he seemed willing to actually go along with Neptune's suggestion. Which begged the questions...since when and why hadn't Kyle mentioned him when they last spoke? And even more...
Did Jax know?
Something strange had just occurred. When Kyleigh was about to comment about that being very true - and indeed all three were from the same house when suddenly Neptune brought up Rodrigo buying her something.
Kyleigh just watched as Neptune
sniffed Rodrigo’s arm. That wasn’t strange at all - well, not when you are advertising that its a good smelling glitter potion. “Ah yes I do think we all were in the same house then” she smiled softly. Surely she would have remembered him more if she hadn’t ended up getting herself possessed.
When Neptune glanced at her she felt her eyebrow inching upwards and then back at him then at her. What was she? Oh.
She opened her mouth to respond to Neptune’s question about liking the potion when she heard her prompt Rodrigo to buy it for her. Her eyes swooping back over to him when he asked if she needed it. “Actually i’m alright - if I really want something glittering or to see something sparkling I apparate back to my home town and watch the Eiffel tower” she admitted sheepishly.
When he asked her about the confidence potion she couldn’t help but chuckle. Giving him a quick response “I’m not sure” she admitted with a chuckle. “Its just - I don’t always think quick fixes work for me...normally things go horribly wrong with them for me that is” she admitted with a laugh. “I don’t need anything specifically today - if something were to jump out of the displays at me and say ‘take me’ sure...but i’m not a glitter-person...” she admitted with a soft smile. “S-” she was about to apologize when her eyes fell on Simon.
Now that wasn’t weird - he probably was just trying to see if it had been her here in the first place. After all she hadn’t mentioned any plans on going to the event when they last spoke. She didn’t know why he was just standing there looking her way - she was probably in front of some display. She shrugged her shoulder, glanced down at the potion in her hand and quickly put it away. “Sorry” she finished her apology and was almost sheepish afterwards. After all - there was something different with the way Simon was looking over to her.
