Her face brightened at the mention of Kennedy's name. "Oh I miss Kennedy. How is he doing? Did he get new glasses? How is his dancing?" She rattled off the questions in a quick fire manner. It was the last hold over form her childhood.
She smiled, "Yeah our family reunions are always a lot of fun. Well if it were left up to my cousin Paris she would certainly take a shot at our grandmother." Harlow didn't understand any of it and no one would explain it to her because they said she was still a kid. Which she didn't not agree with.
She had a training bra for Merlin's sake! She was an adult now!
Harlow brought herself back at Aurora's question. "Oh its one of the islands off the mainland of Japan." she explained. "Japan is a series of islands you know." Well she didn't know if Aurora knew or not. Not even could afford to traipse around the world like Harlow could. "If you want we can go on a holiday there." she offered. It was much more fun go go on vacation with friends than alone or with her brothers.
Harlow beamed, "Its five now. The last one was published as a young adult book. I may go back to writing children's books later, but I want to see where things take me." She confessed.
Aurora blinked. Wow, that was fast... how did Harlow manage to get all those words out so quickly?! She took a deep breath.
"Kennedy's fine, not that I know of, I have no idea we didn't get a chance to dance." she rattled off, not quite as quickly as the questions were answered but quickly enough.
Aurora nodded, it was nice to know she wasn't part of the only family with murderous tendencies. Though it was definitely still not a good thing... luckily their family had some sort of restraint and didn't
actually end up killing anybody.
"Really? I don't know much about Japan. We don't go East very often." Everywhere else though... they were right on that. ALL of Europe, most of the States, various other places. Travelling was AWESOME!
"Sure, that sounds awesome!" She'd love that, going on holiday with friends was always better than just family.
"Five?!" Wow, that was a whole lot of writing...
"Wow... that's pretty amazing." Not that Aurora would ever get around to reading them - dyslexia didn't make reading at all enjoyable. Pfft. Shame really - she really wanted to know what sort of stuff Harlow wrote about...
SPOILER!!: Gary

"Well, Yeah. I'm Canadian." answered him short. "But I went to Salem Magical Institute before I moved to.. Hogwarts." When he was seven years old, Lucas and Gloria moved to America due to bussiness reason. And this year, they decided to move to England for the same reason. England seemed strange for him. Gary found that British accent was quiet funny too. And the girls are weird, Well maybe Aurora was not as weird as the former girls that he had met before.
Well, so this girl had found her cat, right? Why didn't she move from here? He thought.
SCORE! She was right. Ha. Canada. She only knew a couple of people from there...
"Salem? Cool. I heard that's pretty different to Hogwarts." Yeah, it'd probably be weird for him at first. It was bad enough coming from homeschooling... A lot of people had looked at her funny at first, especially because of the stupid mixture of European in her accent. Pfft.
She still wasn't quite sure what she thought of Gary - he seemed cool and surly but maybe he'd lighten up if she tried hard enough. Maybe.
"So do you have Quidditch at Salem?" Conversatino starter. No matter how little he wanted to have a conversation she was adamant it was going to happen.
