Guess I'll have to try and be patient...even if it is killing me!" Could one die in anticipation of something? It sure felt like it.
The first year's eyes grew wide as Logan talked a secret tunnel. "What? That sounds like something out of a book. We can really look for it?" She asked, excited. Camping also sounded quite nice. "I'll camp as long as there aren't any bears...or skrewts." She said sheepishly. "Oh and we both don't want to be near spiders." Yeah, those little eight-legged thing-a-majigs could spend the summer somewhere else. She frowned just thinking about the little devilish creatures but the corners of her mouth turned upward at the mention of swimming. Was he a mind reader? "Swimming! I'm most looking forward to that. I love to swim. Mom used to say..." Ella frowned as she mentioned her mom, forgetting momentarily that she was quite mad at the woman. "...t-that I should have been a mermaid." She smiled shyly, shrugging.
But what was that blush about. Ella looked at Logan, head cocked to the side. "What?" She asked, curious.
Logan laughed.
"It's hard being patient!" he said grinning.
"What are your guesses on who its gonna be?" he asked.
Logan laughed.
"You know, come to think of it, it does sound like something out of a book!" he replied. He nodded.
"Yeah of course! There's no one to stop us, is there?" he asked, an excited expression on his face.
Logan laughed.
"I've been playing in those woods since I was about five. I've never come across any bears. And never knew what a skrewt was until now." he said laughing.
"But...spiders seem to be living everywhere." he said, shuddering a little. Logan grinned.
"I love swimming too! It's great." he said. Then he frowned a little as she seemed sort of sad when she mentioned her mum. He gave her a reassuring smile.
Logan smiled.
"I don't know, honestly.." he said, looking at the ground and then back up at her.
