Daichi eyed his duck and pressed a finger to his lips "ssh!" he said and of course the duck didn't listen and continued to quack away. But even the loud bang would attact people even when Floppy didn't quack so much. At least, he would be investigating the area if he heard an explosion somewhere. Daichi looked at Beezus and gave her an 'oooh i know that spell!' look. "Reparo? Professor Descoteaux showed it to me once!" After the man had sliced a rubber DUCK in class and Daichi had freaked out. He pointed his wand at the crumbled pieces of broken stone but Beezus was faster.
He watched in fascination when the Ravenclaw managed to perform the spell. Daichi bit his lip nervously as the pieces of the stone slowly and carefully got back to their original place. "Y-YOU DID IT!" The Slytherin shouted and just when he jumped on her , giving her a big hug as a thank you....the fountain exploded again.
"Ehm..." Daichi saw how Floppy was waddling in the water that surrounded his shoes again and he let go of Beezus with a clear of his throat. "Well...it was nice seeing you again, bye!" He bend down to pick up his duck but the creature snapped at him and continued to play in the low water. Great, now he couldn't leave because he wouldn't leave his family behind!
And why was that duck so noisy?! They were in the middle of a crisis here and that duck was quacking like there was no tomorrow? Daichi and her would surely have no tomorrow if they didn't find a solution to what they've done. Well, the correct thing to say was what Daichi had done. She was just on the shoes of a supporting actress, by doing worse. They didn't need anything worse to happen at the moment.
Then all of a sudden, Daichi was saying she did it and was hugging her. But of course, she knew better. The spell she did was a complete failure. A great failure out of the failures.
Beezus just stood there rooted to the spot until the Slytherin bid goodbye. Oh, no..She wasn't going to suffer the consequences alone. Nope. Not a chance.
"Daichi! You're not going anywhere!" she screamed as she hurriedly ran over to where he was and his duck.
"Well..well..at least the duck got some sense. Good Floppy," the eaglette said sarcastically as she shot the Slytherin a deadly glare. He was going to leave her there to deal with the situation? No, she wasn't allowing him. It was his fault in the first place anyway.
Feeling all hope was lost as she stared at the duck happily waddling on the water from the fountain, she suddenly uttered, "
I think we should call a Professor..before the whole place gets flooded."
