The Hogwarts students can all be in Ethelred’s Office, waiting for him to come, so they have a chance to interact. The Ravenclaw boy/ girl are the only two that know Tommy’s gone, and are exolaining to the others. They all received a note by owl saying:
Tommy bit his lip so hard that it began to bleed. He was in his pyjamas- a black t-shirt and grey tartan bottoms. He was tired; it had been two in the morning when he was woken suddenly by the suddenly being unable to breathe. There was a hand pressed heavily over his face, and by the time he realised what was happening, he was in the arms of a man about forty years old, holding him tightly. He couldn’t see with the hand that also covered his eyes, nor could he breathe, or move his arms. However he could kick his legs and try to make some noise. However there seemed to be a hanging silence. He felt something hard hit the back of his head, and fell in to darkness.
Waking with a start, he felt a shock pass through his body. He realised he had been jinxed in to consciousness. He realised he was sitting on a wooden chair. He opened his eyes, and looked in to the eyes of about eight adults and eight teenagers. They all glowered at him.
He was smart enough not to shout or lash out. Even if he wanted to, he couldn’t. His hands were tied behind his back. He didn’t say anything, but he knew exactly what was going on and exactly where he was. He was in a basement, and judging by the smell of stale water that wafted from the floorboards above them, people lived in this building, though not for a few years. It was either a hotel, or a children’s home, because it was no ordinary house.
