Maxwell said with a glint of mischief in his eyes. "I've seen you reading comics a few times, which one's your favorite?"
"He did?" Logan asked.
"That's crazy...why'd he do that?" Logan asked chuckling. He knew a fair few people at Hogwarts he'd like to throw a blast ended skrewt down their pants....
*cough cough* like that Slytherin kid who was making fun of him and his friend.
"Oh, really? That's very brave of you. I think you're a true Gryffindor, Maxwell." he said smiling.
"You make a great rolemode-" he began, but then pursed his lips tightly together, obviously embarrased.
"I-I mean...I...uh..ne-nevermind." he said, his face red, looking at the ground.
"A-anyways, oh yeah. I really like comics. Hmm...I really like Captain America. I named my Pygmy Puff after him..." he said with a sheepish smile.

She'd have to check that there weren't any dead rodents in her dorm. Smartie had nearly eaten someone's pet rat once and Lilly knew how bloodthirsty the cat could be. She patted her lap, indicating for Smartie to sit on her lap and he jumped up, purring in a manner showing that he wanted to be stroked. So she did, staring at the flickering fire and, as usual, daydreaming in a completely different world.
Logan saw Lilly walk into the room and sit down. He walked up to her and sat next to her.
"Hi, Lilly." he said with a smile.
"How are you?" he asked.
