Nate was still a bit transfixed on the ball, especially as the light levels emanating from it changes so drastically. "So, what were you saying about this Book of Mysteria? It sounds like fiction to me," he said matter-of-factly. Even though he believed in magic (he sort of had to, being a wizard and all), he was still skeptical of divination. After all, it wasn't the most proven branch of magic, like charms and transfiguration were. Those actually worked. As he stood there, watching the orb glow brighter and brighter in the Slytherin's hands, Nate leaned over and whispered into Jez's ear, "This thing seems to have a sentience all its own..."
