After inspecting a metal spoon to make sure it was clean, Jory squeezed some tooth paste on to it. Next, he dipped the spoon into the potion and stirred. He occasionally pulled it out of the potion, checking it until all the paste came off.

Next, came the honey. Jory carefully measured out one spoonful honey at a time. Holding the spoon about seven inches from the cauldron, he let the honey drip into it. He repeated the steps for the other two spoonfuls, then he jotted down the steps just instructed to the class in his note book.
