Ella nodded as the Professor spoke, noting her warning about being careful. She would be. The last thing she wanted to do was start a fire! She pointed her wand at her cauldron with a smile.
"Aguamenti!" She was really getting the hang of that one.
"Finite." she said, double checking to make sure she had enough water. Then, with a nervous glance around her, she attempted to light the fire.
"Incendio!" She watched, wide eyed, as the fire lit under the cauldron.
"Woah!" was all she could say. The fire was pretty strong, but not enough to burn anything other than the cauldron so hopefully that's what the Professor had meant. She made sure the fire coming from her wand died out and then pulled her parchment in front of her, adding the steps she had just completed to her notes.
