Taking her gaze away from the fire, Kurumi smiled at the younger lioness. "Evening Tayla," she said with a yawn. Sure, it was sort of a forced one, but convincing nonetheless. "I'm fine. Just a bad case of jet lag. I didn't sleep on the plane ride over." Twelve hours on a plane was a long time to be in such a cramped space after all.
Kurumi's smiled widened a bit more when she was offered chocolates. Kurumi really didn't feel like eating to be honest, but she also didn't want to make the poor girl feel bad or that her efforts were not helping. "Oh, um, thank you," she said with a small head bow as she took one and slowly nibbled on it.
"Welcome," Tayla nodded and gave Kurumi a small smile. She took a chocolate for herself then kept the box inside her pocket again.
"Feel better soon..."
Tayla sat back down on her couch and remained silent. She figured Kurumi needed to be left alone. Coming from Canada, she knew how long and tiring traveling could be.
