Looking up at hmmm...Sophie...? He couldn't be positive but he'd seen her around a few times over the last few years. "Excuse me." he said quietly to the next person who was about to introduce themselves "Hello, we're having a planning meeting here to get a team ready to go to France. You're welcome to join us if you would like."

Gesturing to one of the empty seats with a smile on his face "Gina asked if Katrina and I would brief the team on what's happening. We're just doing introductions for the new people here at the moment."

Sophie smiled as courteously at Gavin, well as much as she could. Inside the brunette older woman was fuming. Why was it that he was looking at her as if she was an unimportant member of the department. She was almost certain that had been working at the Ministry longer than he had. However, Sophie was her work and she did not want to raise any qualms with anyone in any department. That was why she was so good at her job; she kept her head out of drama and got her work done and she was good at her job, well, her two jobs.

The International Magical Cooperation Liasion crossed her arms and smiled curtly at the group, "Briefing... France... and, erm, why are we going to France?" And why didn't Sophie know about this specific trip?
