"Oh and don't leave me alone, and if it gets worse than that, or even if it lasts longer than that, maybe the hospital wing would be a good idea," because unfortunately she could now see that Isaac would need to know about these things. She'd hoped he wouldn't, but if they were together when she had an attack it was probably best that he knew what to avoid doing, because if Isaac did do something wrong and she got worse rather than better she didn't want him to feel bad.
"But really it isn't that bad most of the time and I've learnt how to get through them. It's just that even knowing that I don't really have anything to worry about it's hard to get myself to co-operate sometimes," which was true, and she hoped that it would help him not be frightened. Because as much as he was calm about everything and being encouraging and everything she knew how frightened other people had been when she'd had even mild attacks and was sure that Isaac wouldn't have been as calm about things as he seemed.
"By the way... I hoped you'd have enough courage to ask me out too," Amelia informed him, with a coy smile. Because otherwise she would have asked him out, and that wasn't something she really did.
Listening as she explained what he should and even what he should not do he nodded. If she wanted to get out of somewhere...don't leave her alone. He could see why both were important. If he tried to stop her it would just intensify the panic and that would be very bad. Squeezing her gently, "I'll try te remember all of thet." And he would because if there was a next time, and there very easily could be he wanted to be able to help get her through that too. "How are ye feeling now?" he asked quietly.
Nodding as she went on some more he understood that "Sometimes yer imagination takes over more then what ye know is true?" he asked. He knew that imagination can definitely be more frightening then what's actually happening. Or what could happen goes through your head when it's not happening and can cause fright as well. He'd not heard of anyone being frightened to death. But if they were having a panic attack he could see how one might considering it made it harder to breathe, and lack of oxygen could be very VERY bad.
A smile appeared when she admitted and gave him a coy smile. He'd always wondered what had made her so irritated back in the courtyard at the Leaky but never asked, he'd have to ask her one of these times that was for sure. He didn't want to ask what set her panic attack to happen tonight but had a good idea what had caused it, though he wasn't positive. "Me thinks the best decision I ever made was te go into the book store last summer. And the second best thing was te ask ye out."
