Watching Daichi's enthusiasm about Donald Duck was very amusing. "Yes. He's quite funny, too. He has this cute little chapeau on his head." What with taunting the boy? She definitely needed to get a pic when she went home for Christmas.

"Don't apologize, I find it quite charming," she grinned at him. Really, few years later this boy would look like a gentleman bowing for ladies. Louisa liked this vision. She didn't say anything about it, though, and focused on the boy's study work. Hmm. He was getting it at last.

"Yes, that's right." She smiled, a bit proud that she managed to pass on her legendary compass-work to someone. Hehe. "Now, the arrow.." emphasizing on the word that he suggested they should use, ".. casts a shadow on the sphere with numbers on it. You try to see which number does the shadow touch and it'll be the time of the day."

Moving her eyes away from Daichi and onto her own sundial, she tilted her head trying to read her number. The shadow was so faint considering the sunlight in such weather but she managed to get a shadow close to number three... so maybe it was three fifteen or three thirty in the afternoon. Straightening up, the Ravenclaw looked at him in anticipation. "What did you get?"
