"I'm glad thet I did see it though." he said softly "It helps me understand yer fear better fer one." As she finally raised her head again he returned her smile showing no concern in his face now. "But it also made me more aware." He'd never seen a panic attack, and now knowing what one was like, it frightened him a little knowing that they can be so dangerous.
"Is there something I should haf done instead?" he asked quietly. He had no idea what he should or shouldn't do during a panic attack and had just taken a guess. "I'm proud of ye." he added because he was. She hadn't had to stay she could have run, and maybe making it worse, but she'd stayed and allowed him to help.
"Not really... Talking is always good, as is trying to get me to breathe properly. But you should never grab me. I don't mind touching, in fact that helps ground me but if I want to get out of somewhere let me," Amelia told him, her tone serious as she thought about what he'd asked her. "Oh and don't leave me alone, and if it gets worse than that, or even if it lasts longer than that, maybe the hospital wing would be a good idea," because unfortunately she could now see that Isaac would need to know about these things. She'd hoped he wouldn't, but if they were together when she had an attack it was probably best that he knew what to avoid doing, because if Isaac did do something wrong and she got worse rather than better she didn't want him to feel bad.
"But really it isn't that bad most of the time and I've learnt how to get through them. It's just that even knowing that I don't really have anything to worry about it's hard to get myself to co-operate sometimes," which was true, and she hoped that it would help him not be frightened. Because as much as he was calm about everything and being encouraging and everything she knew how frightened other people had been when she'd had even mild attacks and was sure that Isaac wouldn't have been as calm about things as he seemed.
"By the way... I hoped you'd have enough courage to ask me out too," Amelia informed him, with a coy smile. Because otherwise she would have asked him out, and that wasn't something she really did.
