Cass looked down, ashamed and upset at herself. "Got any other criticism? Go ahead and say it. It can't make anything any worse" she said, shrugging, her voice choked and scratchy. "I've told you before that I'm an idiot. This proves it" she whispered.
Bradin gave Cass a confused look.
"How was that a criticism?" he asked. He couldn't recall criticising her.
"And you're not an idiot.. It's in the past and buried. I kept that from you to avoid this from happening. If anyone's the idiot it's me for even letting my ego get that big" he replied. Maybe she'd understand that he kept it a secret to avoid this from happening.
