Even if she didn't bat her eyelashes. "Okay...okay. Anything for you, Ella." he said, kissing her. He closed his eyes and began singing a favorite muggle song of his in the best voice he could do:
"When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach so
She ran away in her sleep
and dreamed of
Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise
Every time she closed her eyes
When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach
and the bullets catch in her teeth
Life goes on, it gets so heavy
The wheel breaks the butterfly
Every tear a waterfall
In the night the stormy night she'll close her eyes
In the night the stormy night away she'd fly
and dreams of
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh
She'd dream of
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh-oh
lalalalalalalalalalala
And so lying underneath those stormy skies
She'd say, "oh, ohohohoh I know the sun must set to rise"
This could be
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh
This could be
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
This could be
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh-oh..."
he finished and opened his eyes, looking up at the sky.
Ella watched Logan as he sang to her. She could not believe how good he sounded. When he finished she felt her jaw drop. She wanted to say something but no sounds were coming out of her mouth.
Why were no sounds coming out? What on earth? She took a breath and that seemed to help.
"Logan that was-you are-I can't believe" Apparently I've forgotten how to talk...snap out of it Ella. "Wow. That was just-wow." Okay, not the best recovery but at least you said something. She shut her mouth and smiled, not wanting to ruin the moment with anymore babbling.
