Pam shrugged. Did she know? Well, not really. But she had an idea. They were wearing her down. Making her feel useless, so she'd walk to them open handed, and they could kill her off. "Probably making me feel bad so I could go to them and they can have me. Make me think that the only way out of the distress is through them. It almost worked a couple of times. And if I weren't here.." She paused. There were a few times when she had wanted to go to Jared. Tell him he was right, and to take her captive. Use her as bait to lure Nate, and then Jez. He'd have what he wanted, and would stop killing innocent people.
